Is your home ready for the Holidays?

If you just want to spruce up your dining room before the big meal, here are some quick additions and fixes you can make to give the space some character before THE BIG MEAL.

Dining rooms are generally used at night, so make sure to test decor choices then. You can use items like mirrors and crystal glasses to your advantage. The soft light of candles will be multiplied by theses reflective surfaces, so dark colors can easily be used on the walls. But decorating a dining room is also about creating a backdrop for great food, great wine and creating memories.

Also, think about the centerpiece you put on the table. Flowers shouldn't block the view of your guests when they are seated. Make floral arrangements short, so that people can see past them.
